PRIZES
General Information
Fremantle Eisteddfod provides a wide range of prizes throughout all sections.

For every section, a trophy will be given to the first prize winner. Cash prizes will also be included with the trophy for more advanced levels or age groups.
For big sections where the prize money is large (up to $1000), there will be a perpetual trophy included. This trophy must be well looked after and must be returned the following year.

View Section Information to see the sections that have a first-place winner performance opportunity at one of the Winners Concerts, as well as prize amounts.

If a student has won more than one of these sections, the Eisteddfod will only choose one performance for the Winners Concert (usually the shorter and more virtuosic piece). The piece to be performed will be selected by the Eisteddfod.

Special prize winners are calculated as follows:
Junior concert special prizes:
Person who won the most 1st prizes in sections 13/U or lower and Grade 6 and lower. If it’s even, then we see the number of 2nd prizes from these sections.
Senior concert special prizes:
Person who won the most 1st prizes in sections 15/U and above and Grade 7 and above. If it’s even, then we see the number of 2nd prizes from these sections.

If a student enrolled in a 13/U and 18/U and won both sections, unfortunately it only counts as 1 win for the Junior section and 1 win for Senior section (no overlapping allowed).
